KTDG102 Evaluation Dongle
Brings the whole functionality and performance of the best-in-class Thread Certified 802.15.4 Network Co-Processor to the user in a USB stick form factor.
Handy built-in UART connector allows to easily link to any host (supplied cable).
Two-input power multiplexer enables dongle to be powered by USB connector or through UART cable by the host with seamless transition between both paths.
An useful signaling led to know device’s status at all time and a cute removable USB enclosure to keep it from harm.
Kirale’s Border Router is structured on the synergy between KiNOS Thread Stack and any Linux-based system through few simple service configurations and traffic forwarding rules, allowing to port it on a wide range of off-the-shelf hardware platforms.
Dongle takes advantage of KiNOS Ethernet-over-USB capability, thus just plug it on your platform and it will automatically work as one more Ethernet interface, providing your applications seamless IP connectivity and allowing to reach your Thread devices from any IP-based network.
As in any other Linux-based router, there are an endless list of open-source IPv4/IPv6 software packages in order to perform all tasks required for Thread Border Router. Relay Thread management to KTWM102 Module and squeeze the most out of Linux power in native or virtualized environment.
